OUR FACULTY
Sue Harrington
Mrs. Harrington's professional experience includes
many different areas in the dance education field. She
has been involved in dance for the past 32 years and had
been educated by many different instructors ranging from
Joe Tremaine to Frank Hatchett, Maurice Hines, and Pam
Raff. After developing a well rounded education in
dance, Mrs. Harrington has been able to teach at many
schools throughout New Hampshire, opening her own
studio, Creative Steps School of Dance, in 1998.
Mrs. Harrington organized students into performance
companies that compete at regional and national
competitions winning many gold and platinum medals as
well as choreography awards, entertainment awards, and
highest score overall awards with several of her
students picking up "Title" awards from many well known
national competitions. She has been awarded the
"Diamond Choreography" award from the American Dance
Awards national talent competition several times. Her "Creative Steps
Dance Company" students were also recently invited to
perform at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios,
Florida.
Mrs. Harrington is a member of the Better Business
Bureau, New Hampshire Dance
Alliance and is continually expanding her education by
attending classes in Boston, MA, as well as dance
conventions and workshops throughout the New England
Region. This results in increased knowledge for Creative
Steps Students.
Tracy Harrington
Tracy Harrington has been with Creative Steps for 9
years and is an instructor of ballet, tap, jazz, and
tumbling for ages three to adult. Tracy has been dancing
for many years and has competed regionally as well as
nationally and has won many gold awards for her
performances. She has most recently choreographed
multiple pieces to be performed by the Creative Steps
Dance Company to win multiple prestigious awards.
She is able to bring her students to a
level of technique where dance is fun yet challenging.

Aaron is currently a professor of dance at Plymouth
State University. He is a writer and consultant of Dance
Spirit Magazine, a consultant and trainer for Riverdance
the Show, and he is the associate producer and assistant
choreographer of ImagineTap! He is also the director and
choreographer of New England Tap Ensemble.
David Sun
David Sun has taught ballet extensively throughout the
Northeast since 1989. He received his primary ballet
training as a scholarship student with Richard Thomas
and Barbara Fallis in New York City. He has performed as
a dancer with the Houston Grand Opera, as well as with
many regional groups in New England and New York, and as
a television actor for CBS. He has taught throughout the
New England area, including at Boston Ballet's school,
and taught master classes at the Portsmouth School of
Ballet, Brandeis University, and the NH School of
Ballet. He continues to work as a teacher at Patricia
Lavoie's Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater since its
inception, among many other schools, and also maintains
work as a photographer, with national and local dance
and fashion credits.
Sharon Reidy
Sharon joins us from the O'Shea Chaplin Academy of Irish
Dance in Mass where she also teaches. Sharon says "What
I love the most about being an Irish Step Dancing
Teacher, is the opportunity I have to help young people
build confidence and a stronger sense of self." Sharon
has been with the O'Shea-Chaplain Academy of Irish Dance
for approximately twenty years. Sharon is a registered
teacher with the Irish Dance Commission of Dublin,
Ireland, and is thrilled to be able to pass on to others
what she has learned. We are very happy she is willing
to travel to Tilton to share her knowledge and talents
with us.
Abby Reynolds
Abby joined Creative Steps as a student when the studio
first opened and has been a teacher now for several
years. As a student, she participated in the CSteps
competition team competing both regionally and
nationally on Disney's Big Red Boat, at Disney and MGM.
Abby has always kept Dance as part of her life while she
has explored various career opportunities and is
currently working towards a degree in elementary
education. She has attended dance classes at Dean
College, PSU, and NH School of Ballet and attends
various workshops during the summers. Abby enjoys
working with students in the disciplines of ballet,
lyrical, jazz, modern, basic tumbling and pilates. She
also enjoys hiking, running, cross country skiing, and
her horse.
